Social Skills Group

Creating social connection, friendship, and happiness to lead a healthy and successful life

Social skills groups improve communication with peers and adults, cooperative teamwork, and teach individuals to become active members of their community.

CCSN offers evidence-based social skills groups with a focus on communication, self-advocacy responsibility, empathy, engagement, and self-control. Social skill assessments and curriculums are used to develop and improve social emotional skills. Our dynamic, engaging, and effective social skills groups are designed to improve social communication, emotional regulation, and peer interaction. Groups will be assigned based on prerequisite skills.

The intake and assessment process:

Through the intake process we learn about strengths and area of need, and pair the learner with others that will model, demonstrate, and improve skills including communication, teamwork, coping skills, and much more.
