Early Learning Center (ELC)

Empowering children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through individualized support and therapy.

The Early Learner Program At CCSN

Our Early Learning Program for children 2-5 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provides a comprehensive, collaborative, and interdisciplinary approach towards early childhood whole-person treatment.

The program integrates Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech Therapy (SLP), and Occupational Therapy (OT) to create a supportive and nurturing environment, tailored to the unique needs of each child.

About the Treatment Program

CCSN’s treatment space is designed to be inclusive and stimulating, with a 1:1 staff-to-patient ratio to provide individualized attention to each child’s unique needs. Our spaces are led by trained program facilitators and have ongoing direct coaching by our licensed clinicians. Activities are structured yet flexible and evidence-based, emphasizing learning through play and exploration.

Foundations

Client & Family Centered Approach to Care

  • Focusing on the unique needs, strengths, and preferences of young children and their families
  • Fostering open and transparent communication between caregivers and care team
  • Building a trusting and respectful relationship between clients and service providers enhances overall effectiveness of interventions

Multidisplinary Approach

  • Most successful approach to address diverse needs of learners
  • Reduces the likelihood of gaps or overlap in services
  • Leads to better problem solving and more effective interventions, improving overall outcomes for patients

School Readiness

  • Preparing the child and family for transitions, such as moving on to preschool or kindergarten
  • Generalization of skills from 1:1 to group settings
  • A stimulating and therapeutic environment where kids learn many of the social and adaptive skills they will need for success at school.

Natural Environment

  • Treatment should occur in settings which mirror real life. Our early learning centers offer children the opportunity to access the therapy they need in settings which will be familiar to them.
  • Children thrive when learning is engaging, playful, and naturalistic. We craft our setting to support child engagement in both individual and small group spaces.
  • Treatment must be flexible to allow approaches to be adapted to the unique needs of each child. We customize evidence-based treatments to reach each child where they are.

Schedule

Our Early Learner Preschool Program follows a carefully designed daily schedule emphasizing child engagement while offering structure and consistency. The schedule includes a balance of individual therapy sessions, group activities, and play-based learning ensuring that each child’s therapeutic needs are met throughout the day.

Our treatment plans are built to support your child in small groups where they can learn social skills, build friendships, and prepare for success at school and in the community.

We apply evidence-based ABA interventions in an interdisciplinary approach. All treatments are customized to each child’s needs and are focused on achieving progress through engaging, positive, and meaningful interactions.

We provide speech and occupational therapy services designed to meet each child’s unique needs through a focused and comprehensive approach, ensuring frequent and targeted support to foster growth and development. Our client-centered intervention cultivates communication, social readiness, play, and independence, creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Children learn through play every day. We embed research driven intervention into play so that children gain many skills while motivated, having fun, and celebrating success!
