Nicole Thurz

Nicole Thurz, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a part-time speech language pathologist at CCSN. Nicole graduated from University of Connecticut with her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2021. She then earned her master’s degree from University of Connecticut in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023.

In addition to CCSN, Nicole is currently a school-based speech-language pathologist at the secondary and post-secondary level. She has experience working with individuals of various ages and implementing strategies to meet their unique needs and goals across community, vocational and academic settings. Nicole’s professional interests include augmentative and alternative communication and pediatric language disorders. Nicole is deeply committed to empower children with communication disorders and thrive across all aspects of life by fostering strong and collaborative partnerships across multidisciplinary teams.
