Robin Messier, MSED, BCBA
Robin is a highly experienced and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Connecticut (LBA) and Massachusetts (LABA), with over a decade of expertise in working with individuals across diverse learning populations. Holding a Master of Science in Special Education with a focus on Severe Special Education from Simmons University, Robin has furthered her education with post-graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis at Western New England University. Robin also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science with a concentration in education and youth leadership from Pennsylvania State University.
Robin’s extensive background spans early childhood development, intensive residential placement, vocational coaching, adult services, caregiver training, home-based Birth-to-Three systems, school consultation, community programs, and multi-disciplinary collaborative clinical models. She is sensitive to trauma informed and assent-based approaches, including Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) approach instruction.
Robin’s professional achievements include public speaking engagements and participation in parent panels at pediatric medical summer camps. She excels in program design aimed at achieving the best outcomes for clients, collaborating seamlessly with other professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, social workers, and both medical and educational teams.
