Marie Manero Cahill is a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) and PATH Intl. Advanced Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor with a professional background that bridges equine-assisted services and pediatric occupational therapy.
She began her career in the equine industry after earning a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Management with a specialization in Equine Business Management from Cazenovia College. Her passion for helping others through meaningful, movement-based activities led her to become an Advanced Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor through PATH Intl. For over 9 years, she has provided therapeutic riding instruction to individuals of all ages and abilities, focusing on building physical strength, confidence, and emotional well-being through both mounted and unmounted programming.
Inspired by the progress she observed in her riders and a desire to play a more direct role in facilitating personal growth, Marie pursued an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Goodwin University graduating in 2024. Today, she is enjoying working in pediatrics with experience in school based and outpatient therapy, working with children with a variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and motor coordination disorders. In her role as a COTA/L, she strives to collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to support children in developing the skills they need for independence in play, school, and daily life.
