Monica Faldu is a Clinic Coordinator and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst at CCSN. Monica earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Northeastern University.
Before joining CCSN, Monica gained extensive experience supporting students with neurodevelopmental disabilities in school-based settings as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant. Monica received extensive training and supervision with CCSN as a registered behavior technician while completing her master’s coursework to become a BCBA. This included a variety of experiences in the clinic and home setting, including implementation and analysis of skill-based/behavioral assessments, staff supervision, and parent coaching. Monica also gained experience in a psychiatric residential setting, where she developed specialized expertise in staff training in practical applications of behavior analytic principles in the setting. After becoming a BCBA, Monica primarily worked in CCSN’s school consultation division as a senior program consultant. In this role, she provided extensive supports to public school special education programs across a wide range of grade levels and profiles, including preschool to high school programs supporting students with neurodevelopmental disorders, intellectual disabilities, and intensive social emotional needs. In her current role, Monica supports patients, families, and the ABA clinical team by providing case management and clinical staff supervision and support, with an emphasis on fostering a collaborative and compassionate clinical environment.
Monica’s professional interests include behavior analytic approaches to effective staff training and supervision, parent education and empowerment in navigation of special education in the public school system, and delivery and dissemination of compassionate and trauma-informed practice. She is committed to collaborating with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to create meaningful, individualized supports for the individuals she serves.
