Cara Cappalli-Dave - Patient Services Coordinator and Compliance Administrator,

Cara Cappalli-Davey is a Board Certified and Connecticut Licensed Behavior Analyst with more than 25 years of experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA), education, and autism program development. At CCSN, Cara serves as a Consultation Director, where she partners with school districts to provide consultation on capacity development initiatives, training and supervision, and guides within-district program development. She also leads training and professional development, both in consultation and within CCSN’s clinic settings.

Cara earned her master’s degree in behavioral education from Simmons College. Before joining CCSN, she worked at a large educational service center, holding leadership roles as Autism Programs Coordinator and later as Pupil Services Coordinator. In these roles, she helped design and expand behavior analytic programming for students ages 3–22 with diverse developmental and social-emotional needs. She also provided BCBA supervision, led professional development from onboarding to advanced clinical topics, and supported staff in delivering high-quality services. In addition, Cara has previously served as an adjunct faculty member in two graduate programs and has presented regionally and nationally on topics such as ethics, supervision, staff training, program design, and enhancing staff performance.

Her professional interests include early intensive intervention, supporting learners with complex needs, developing and scaffolding goals, broadening the reach of behavior analytic services in schools, and creating new program models. Most of all, Cara is passionate about mentoring and supporting other professionals so they can thrive in their practice and positively impact the lives of the individuals they serve.
