Megan Scheer, BT

Megan Scheer is a Behavior Technician in the CCSN Behavioral Health ABA Clinic. Currently, she attends Elms College in pursuit of her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) certification. She plans to continue to further her education and continue her career by utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) when providing instruction and support to those with special needs.

Prior to joining the team at CCSN, Megan supported and provided instruction in the classroom setting, community outreach, and clinical therapy settings to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental delays whose ages ranged from 18 months to 22 years old. Her experience implementing treatments consistent with the principles of ABA has led to her utilizing reinforcement strategies with rescue and foster dogs to successfully train and increase adaptability. Megan’s professional interests include functional communication training, schedules of reinforcement, natural environment teaching, and behavior intervention support planning.
