Harleen Kaur, B.A.

Harleen Kaur is a Behavior Technician working in the CCSN Behavioral Health ABA Clinic. Harleen received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Harleen’s aspirations include continuing to work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and pursue higher studies to supplement her knowledge and application of principles of behavior analysis.

Harleen began in the behavior health field working as Early Intervention Service coordinator for families with children receiving ABA, PT, OT, and Speech Therapy services for two years. Prior to coming to CCSN, Harleen was a Behavior Technician working in home and community settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a year. Harleen worked closely with young children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other related neurodevelopmental disorders, and found it gratifying to see growth and experience the joy of working with unique individuals. Her experience includes teaching functional communication, imitation and functional play skills, as well as toileting skills. Her passion for the field of ABA stems from the effectiveness of the methodological approach to skill acquisition and the meaningful changes it produces for the patients and their families.
